There is likely to be a focus on the managers for this contest. Watford’s Marco Silva has been courted by Everton, though The Hornets have made it very clear they do not have any intention of letting him leave the club. For West Ham, David Moyes has replaced Slaven Bilic after a poor start to the season. It will be interesting to see how the Hammers perform in his first game in charge.
Watford Team News
Watford will be missing quite a few key players for this game, both through injury and suspension. The players that will miss out through injury for the Hornets include; Nathaniel Chalobah, Sebastian Prodl, Craig Cathcart and Isaac Success. Skipper Troy Deeney is still banned after a violent conduct charge in the game against Stoke City. Younes Kaboul and Roberto Pereyra are doubts but could still be in the starting 11. Heurelho Gomes suffered a head injury against Everton but he should be fine to start here.
West Ham United Team News
David Moyes will have most of the squad to choose from for his first game in charge of The Hammers. That being said, there are still some big players that will be sitting this one out. The doubt is Michail Antonio, who has gone on record to praise Moyes for his impact on the training ground. Antonio has not been in training as he was suffering with a rib injury, though he could still be fit in time for the trip to Vicarage Road. Jose Fonte, James Collins and Sam Byram will probably miss out.

Watford v West Ham United Predictions
Watford started the season extremely well and were in and around the top 6 in the Premier League for a long time. However, The Hornets have now lost three games in a row and cynics may believe this is due to the speculation surrounding the future of Marco Silva. They will have been particularly disappointed to throw a 2-0 lead away against Everton, going on to miss a late penalty which would have saved a point.
Poor results cost Slaven Bilic his job as the manager of West Ham, with David Moyes stepping in. There are many question marks surrounding the credentials of Moyes after a poor few years in management. After leaving Everton, he has struggled to make an impact at three different clubs; Manchester United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland. As The Hammers are in a relegation battle, they will hope his experience will help keep them up.
No-one is sure what to expect from West Ham, so this is tough to call. However, they are in the bottom three for a reason, they have just not been good enough. Though Watford are in a poor run of form, they looked good for most of the game against Everton and just switched off at the back. The tip is for Watford to get back to winning ways with a 2-1 victory.
