Tottenham v Real Madrid matched betting tips for the Champions League match at Wembley on Tuesday 31st October. Read the match preview and predictions for Tottenham v Real Madrid matched betting tips.
There has been nothing to split these two terrific sides so far in this Champions League campaign. In Group H, both sides have won 2, drawn 1 with a goal difference of +5. They both sit 6 points ahead of third placed Borussia Dortmund and look likely to make it to the knockout stages. The entertaining 1-1 draw at the Santiago Bernabéu showed that these sides are on a very similar level, but injuries may play a massive part.
Tottenham Team News
The big news for Spurs is that star striker and talisman Harry Kane could miss this game. Kane picked up a hamstring injury against Liverpool in a 4-1 win, and then missed the midweek Carabao Cup defeat to West Ham and Saturday’s loss at Manchester United in the Premier League. If the England striker was to miss out, either Heung-Min Son or Fernando Llorente will lead the line. Erik Lamela and Victor Wanyama will both miss out, which means Eric Dier could move back to midfield.
Real Madrid Team News
Former Spurs star Gareth Bale has been out for over a month with a calf injury and he is unlikely to make it back in time for the game against his old club. First choice goalkeeper Keylor Navas has missed a few games with a slight injury and is also expected to miss the game at Wembley. Other absentees include Mateo Kovacic and Daniel Carvajal. Marco Asensio is likely to lead the line alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.

Tottenham v Real Madrid Predictions
Though the Group H table suggests that these two sides are evenly matched, Tottenham’s last two matches should set alarm bells ringing. Of course, those two games have come since the injury to the main man Harry Kane and with him likely to miss this contest too, it is going to be an extremely difficult night for Spurs. Kane not only grabs most of the goals, but he is a physical presence up front and a focal point of the side. Pochettino’s team will miss him massively.
Real Madrid have won the Champions League in three of the last four years and are favourites to go on and lift the famous trophy yet again. Cristiano Ronaldo looks like he will be winning the Ballon D’or again this year and it will be well deserved. Since Zinedine Zidane took charge of Los Blancos they have been pretty much unstoppable. Even though Spurs got a draw in the reverse fixture, expect Real to go for the win here.
If Kane is out, the tip is for Real Madrid to come away from Wembley with the three points and put themselves top of the group. It should still be a close game, with a 1-2 Correct Score offering good value here.
