Stoke have underperformed this season and are currently fighting to stay above the relegation zone which they are above by just 4 points. Their home form has picked up of late being unbeaten in their last 4 matches at the Bet365 Stadium and Michael O’Neill’s side managed a surprise victory away to league-leaders West Brom on Monday evening which will give them a huge boost going into Saturday’s match.

Swansea’s form is a little more consistent although currently, they have only win 1 of their last 7 matches on the road which was a narrow 1-0 victory away to bottom of the table Luton. They have also suffered some heavy defeats during this period which included a 5-1 loss to West Brom, a 3-1 loss to Brentford and most recently, another 5-1 defeat to QPR in the FA Cup. That said, they have only conceded an average of 1.15 goals on the road so far this season and so if they can find their form of late last year on their travels, they won’t be leaking too many at the back on Saturday.

Stoke  v Swansea Prediction

We feel the league positions of these two teams don’t reflect how Saturday’s match will play out. Stoke’s form has picked up under the management of O’Neill and although they’re not without their problems, their 1-0 win over West Brom earlier in the week clearly shows how they’ve improved. As mentioned, Swansea’s form has been more consistent but they are going through a poor spell away from home and so we’re expecting a tight match at the Bet365 Stadium which is why we’re backing both sides to leave with a point.
