Alex Neil has a number of injuries to contend with ahead of this match. Tommy Spurr, Greg Cunningham, Sean Maguire and Tom Clarke are all in the treatment room. Leading goalscorer Jordan Hugill which will afford Callum Robinson a rare start up-front. After coming off the bench against Aston Villa, Kevin O’Connor could be in line to start at centre-back.

Preston North End v Bolton Wanderers Predictions
On the face of it, Preston’s form nose dived before the international break. However, dig a little deeper and they gave a good account of themselves in a 3-2 defeat away to Championship leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers a few games back. Performance-wise, they’re doing okay and the feeling is that it won’t be long until the results follow.
Bolton are enjoying a five match unbeaten run but three of those were draws and they remain stuck in the drop-zone. The Trotters caused something of a shock when beating an in-form Norwich City side last time out but there are no guarantees that they can follow up with another win here.
Bolton haven’t won away from home in the league this season, a run of eight matches without success. Preston had posted solid home form until recently but this is an easier fixture on paper and the Lillywhites are tipped to outscore their opponents. This has the makings of a cracking game and a bet for Over 2.5 Goals is also advised.
