Fulham are still in contention for an automatic promotion sport although those hopes have been slightly diminished due to picking up just one point in their last three matches. Scott Parker’s side had struggled for goals when they lost their top scorer Aleksander Mitrovic due to injury but did manage to pick up wins by narrow margins. Mitrovic made his return to the squad against Huddersfield at the beginning of February and celebrated with a goal in his sides’ 3-2 win. Since his return, the Serbian has now scored in four of Fulhams last five matches bringing his season-long tally up to an impressive 22 goals.

Swansea are currently ninth in the Championship and still have a chance at reaching a playoff position of which they are 5 points adrift of currently. After a positive start to the season, Swansea have had a mixed run of form and haven’t been able to put together consecutive wins since mid-December. Steve Cooper’s side haven’t been short of goals of late having bagged 3 against Huddersfield last weekend, 4 against Hull the week prior and 2 against Derby two weeks before that. However, the Swans have struggled at the back and have conceded far too many in recent games which meant that three points have turned into one or none. They should be confident of getting a goal on Wednesday but it’s a matter of whether they can keep fewer balls out of the net between their posts.

This could be a tricky game for both sides as both have shown they are more than capable of finding the net. If it wasn’t for Aleksander Mitrovic’s return, we would have maybe taken a punt on an away win but we feel he may be the difference on Wednesday evening. We’re confident both teams will find the net which may be a safer bet than backing a winner but if we had to choose, we’d go for a 2-1 home win with Mitrovic getting on the scoresheet for the 5th game out of six since his return.
