Fiorentina v Roma matched betting tips for the Serie A match at Stadio Artemio Franchi on Sunday 5th November. Read the match preview and predictions for Fiorentina v Roma matched betting tips.

Seventh-placed Fiorentina have made a steady start to the campaign by their own expectations but come up against a tough opponent here. Roma are fifth in the Serie A standings but have a game in hand on the teams above and will be looking for three points to keep pace.

Fiorentina Team News

With Cyril Théréau out injured, there is a spot up for grabs on the left side of attack. Valentin Eysseric is tipped to get the nod ahead of Gil Dias in the vacant position. Both Riccardo Saponara and Vincent Laurini are out injured for the hosts. Cristiano Biraghi could come in at left-back but Viola are expected to remain unchanged elsewhere.

Roma Team News

Roma have two players returning from injury for this match. Kostas Manolas should slot in alongside Fazio in central defence while Gregoire Defrel may be used as an impact sub. Emerson and Rick Karsdorp remain in the treatment room for the visitors. Stephan El Shaarawy is a man in form and will be a real handful to contend with on the left flank.

Fiorentina v Roma Predictions

Fiorentina have a good record at home in Serie A having lost just two of their last 25 league games at Stadio Artemio Franchi. However, they were poor in a 2-1 defeat away to Crotone last time out and this is a much tougher assignment.

Roma have won their last eleven away games in Serie A, keeping a clean sheet in the most recent four of those on the road successes. The visitors smashed Chelsea 3-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday night and look like a side in form.

The home side will look to make things difficult for Roma but are unlikely to keep them at bay for 90 minutes. It should be an entertaining game, given that both teams have been scoring for fun recently. The verdict is a 2-1 win to Roma and it would be no great shock if Edin Dzeko opened the scoring.
