Titanbet Bookmakers List Player Of The Year Odds

Considering that we are now a few months into the 2017/18 Premier League football season, it feels like a good time to look at who will be the stand out player throughout the campaign. Titanbet bookmakers are offering odds on who will be crowned Premier League Player of the Year when the prize is given out at the end of the season.

Some players have been quick out of the blocks, while others may come into their own as we move into the crucial months of the season. There are plenty of options, so let’s take a look at which players are in with a chance of claiming the award.

Titanbet Bookmakers Odds

Kevin De Bruyne

Odds – 3/1

The Belgian international has started the season with a bang, which has put him as the early favourite to win Player of the Year. With three assists, De Bruyne is used to setting his team mates up for goals. He also grabbed his first goal of the season against his old club Chelsea, who let him go in 2014. What a mistake that was.

That strike was a left footed missile into the corner of the net which was hit from distance. So far, it looks like there is nothing this man cannot do on a football pitch. Pep Guardiola’s City side look phenomenal and if they lift the league title, it’s likely that one of their players will win Player of the Year.

Unsurprisingly, he has won Manchester City’s Player of the Month award for September and it would not be a surprise if he won the Premier League Player of the Year award too.

Harry Kane

Odds – 11/2

There have been rumours recently that Real Madrid are looking to make a huge offer for Tottenham striker Harry Kane in the next few transfer windows and to be honest, who could blame them? Kane has been unbelievable for quite some time now and just seems to be getting better.

The England man has won the Premier League Golden Boot for the last two seasons and looks well on his way to doing so again as he sits on six goals, just one behind the leading scorer so far. He has also been named in the PFA Team of the Year for the last three seasons.

It is a certainty that he will continue to score goals, and this could easily lead to the Player of the Year award come what May.

Romelu Lukaku

Odds – 9/1

Here is the only man to have scored more goals than Harry Kane in the Premier League so far this season. The big Belgian striker has seven so far and looks likely to score in every game he plays at the moment. The move to Manchester United has worked perfectly.

Lukaku now has players like Juan Mata, Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford and Henrikh Mkhitaryan setting up chances for him which will only lead to more goals in the long run. Any defender in the league will not look forward to seeing Lukaku’s name on the team sheet.

Similarly to De Bruyne, if Man United were to claim the Premier League title then ‘Red Rom’ will probably become the favourite to win Player of the Year.

Sergio Aguero

Odds – 16/1

Having Sergio Aguero in your team essentially guarantees goals. The Manchester City striker is simply world class and has started yet another season brilliantly. He has scored six goals and got three assists so far and he hasn’t even played every game!

His great start was recently put on hold due to a car accident he was involved in, where Aguero sustained broken ribs. Thankfully, the damage wasn’t any more severe than that and the Argentine has since resumed light training with City.

As well as possible injuries, the one thing that may prevent him winning Player of the Season is his past record with Premier League awards. Incredibly, Aguero has never even been included in the Premier League Team of the Year so him winning the individual award seems like a long shot.

Paul Pogba

Odds – 16/1

A lot was made of the transfer fee of around £90 million that Manchester United paid Juventus for the services of Paul Pogba. Of course, Pogba came through the ranks at Man United and was allowed to leave for Juventus in 2012 after not signing a new contract.

Last season he didn’t really hit the heights that many people expected, but this term he has earned a lot of praise for his performances. The Red Devils’ number 6 has played a crucial part in taking the club to 2nd in the league, only behind rivals Man City on goal difference.

Though he is nowhere near the top of either the goals or assists chart so far, you can expect the flamboyant Frenchman to add to both tallies as the season goes on.

Gabriel Jesus

Odds – 18/1

At only 20 years old, Gabriel Jesus already looks like an amazing talent. Just this week he scored two goals for Brazil in a 3-0 win over Chile and it looks like more goals are to come.

With strike partner Sergio Aguero missing for the next few weeks at least, most of the chances created by a ruthless Man City side will fall to Jesus, which he will more than likely fire into the back of the net.

Since he is so young still, it may be more likely that he will win Young Player of the Year but if he gets enough goals and City win the league, the big prize may be his.

Philippe Coutinho

Odds – 20/1

It was a very strange summer for Philippe Coutinho. He spent most of it desperate to force a move to Barcelona, going as far as to hand in a transfer request at Liverpool. Of course, the Reds held firm and refused to sell their star man.

It took a few weeks, but now the Brazilian is back in the team and looks close to being back to his best. Recent stunning goals against Leicester City and Newcastle United have shown that he’s not prepared to sulk on the pitch.

With the World Cup next summer and Barcelona reportedly looking to put another bid in next year, Coutinho has a lot of reasons to play well between now and the end of the Premier League season.

Alvaro Morata

Odds – 20/1

When Chelsea signed Alvaro Morata to replace Diego Costa, there were many experts that weren’t sure he could step up. So far, so good though as the Spanish international has already netted six goals.

Another player that will have a point to prove ahead of next years World Cup, he’ll be eyeing up the striker spot in the Spain team.

He’s currently out of action with a hamstring injury, but he hopes to be back on the pitch soon. If Antonio Conte’s side can lift the Premier League trophy, expect these odds to be slashed.

Best of the Rest

Liverpool’s Sadio Mane is also a 20/1 shot to claim the Player of the Year crown. Unfortunately, he has just suffered a hamstring injury on international duty that may see him out for up to six weeks. When fit though, he is one of the best players in the league. Eden Hazard won the award in 2014-15 and he seems to be starting to find some of that form once again. The Chelsea attacker can be backed at odds of 22/1.

Dele Alli, N’Golo Kante, David Silva and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are all at 25/1 which could offer good value. Other big names in the running include Mohamed Salah at 28/1, while Alexis Sanchez, Marcus Rashford, Mesut Ozil, David De Gea, Raheem Sterling, Roberto Firmino and Leroy Sane are all at 33/1.
