Sky Bet Super 6 Tips & Predictions For 23-09-2017

Sky Bet Super 6 Tips & Predictions For 19-09-2017

It’s Sky Bet Super 6 time again, and you could claim the £250,000 jackpot if you get all six of your correct score guesses spot on! As always, the game is free to play which means the huge potential profit could be in your bank account without you having to wager any of your own money.

Sky Bet Super 6 Offers Huge Potential Win

As the game is free to play, you might as well have a go every single week regardless of whether your football knowledge is any good or not. Considering how erratic football can be at the best of times, you may even give yourself a better chance by guessing randomly. Hopefully not though, and we will attempt to use statistics and logic to predict the results of the six games chosen by Sky this week.

Sky Bet Super 6 is really easy to play.

  • They will give you six matches and you just have to guess what the score will be in each game at full time.
  • If you manage to get all six spot on, you will win either the entire jackpot, or a share of the jackpot if other users have entered the same predictions as you.
  • You will also need to enter a Golden Goal prediction for the minute of the first goal in any of the six games, which will be used in the event of a tie breaker.
  • If nobody has all six scores right, the highest scoring player will get a £5,000 bonus.

This week, all of the matches kick off at 3pm on Saturday 23rd September, with all six matches being from the Premier League. Sky Bet Super 6 is well worth playing alongside other matched betting offers, as you do not have to pay to play and could potentially end up with a huge win if things go your way.

Burnley v Huddersfield Town

These two sides have started the season exceptionally well, with Burnley sitting 7th in the Premier League and Huddersfield going one better in 6th. Both clubs are on 8 points, which is the same as Liverpool and Spurs and more than Arsenal. For two of the traditionally smaller clubs in the league, this is quite the achievement.

The Clarets will be without first choice goalkeeper and club captain Tom Heaton for quite a while through injury, which will be a blow, though they have still done well without him so far. For the Terriers, striker Steve Mounie will miss out here, with Laurent Depoitre expected to keep his place in attack.

Both of these sides exited the League Cup through the week, but they are unlikely to lose any sleep over that. Success in the Premier League will always be the main aim, and they are both getting it so far.

Key stats to consider

  • There have been under 2.5 goals scored in 8 of Burnley‘s last 10 home games in the Premier League
  • There have been under 2.5 goals scored in Huddersfield‘s last 4 games in the Premier League
  • Burnley have won their last 3 matches against Huddersfield in all competitions

Recently, both teams have had quite a few draws, so most signs point to that happening again here. We’re not sitting on the fence, honestly.

Prediction: Burnley 1-1 Huddersfield Town

Everton v AFC Bournemouth

What has gone wrong for Everton in the Premier League? Only a month or so after many experts were praising the transfer business the club had done in the summer, the same experts now seem to be extra critical. That’s what happens when you are not winning football matches though. The big money signings aren’t performing and there seems to be a distinctive lack of pace in the side.

Bournemouth have had a good week, having beaten south coast rivals Brighton in both Premier League and League Cup action. This was much needed too, as they were having a shocking season before that. Jermain Defoe grabbed the winner last week and he will look to take that confidence into this one, while Jordon Ibe looked excellent from the bench.

Key stats to consider

  • Everton have lost their last 3 matches in the Premier League
  • Bournemouth have failed to win 10 of their last 11 away matches in the Premier League
  • There have been over 2.5 goals scored in Bournemouth‘s last 3 games in the Premier League

After beating Sunderland 3-0 in the League Cup, Everton really need to get a win here too. They simply cannot afford not to.

Prediction: Everton 2-1 Bournemouth

Manchester City v Crystal Palace

There aren’t enough superlatives to describe how well Man City have done so far this season. Pep Guardiola’s men have been in majestic form hammering Watford 6-0 last week and a weakened side beating West Brom 2-1 in the League Cup. Aguero and Jesus look like the best double act since Ant and Dec burst on the scene, and they look like they might have their own competition for who gets the Golden Boot.

Though Crystal Palace have won twice in the cup, they are still yet to register a point or even a goal in the Premier League. Frank de Boer lasted four league games before he got the sack, with Roy Hodgson hoping he can fare a lot better. A bright spark has been the performances of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who has looked quite sharp in a more advanced role.

Key stats to consider

  • Man City have won their last 8 home matches against Crystal Palace in all competitions
  • Crystal Palace have lost their last 6 matches in the Premier League
  • Man City have scored at least 4 goals in their last 3 home matches against Crystal Palace in all competitions

This should be a walk in the park for Man City, and it would take a miracle for Palace to get anything.

Prediction: Manchester City 4-0 Crystal Palace

Southampton v Manchester United

It’s tough to work out exactly where Southampton are under their new boss Mauricio Pellegrino. Defensively, they have been excellent even without the help of star man Virgil van Dijk, who could come back into the side for this one. It has been scoring goals that is the problem though, but they do sit 9th in the league table.

Manchester United are flying at the moment and everything looks rosy for Jose Mourinho’s men. They sit joint top of the Premier League and new striker Romelu Lukaku is the joint top scorer. Fresh off demolishing Everton and Burton Albion in the cup, the Red Devils will expect to take the three points back to Manchester.

Key stats to consider

  • Southampton have failed to score in 7 of their last 8 home matches in the Premier League
  • Man United have kept a clean sheet in 6 of their last 7 matches in the Premier League
  • Man United are undefeated in their last 9 away matches against Southampton in all competitions

The stats suggest a Man United win to nil, and that’s what we’re going with.

Prediction: Southampton 0-2 Manchester United

Stoke City v Chelsea

The bet365 Stadium is well known as a tough place to go for any side, and Chelsea won’t be relishing the trip this weekend. The Potters have already grabbed a well deserved draw against Manchester United this season and they could spring a surprise again here. Stoke will certainly want to bounce back from a poor result away to Newcastle last week though.

Chelsea have started the defence of their title in decent fashion, but they would have been disappointed not to take the three points at home to Arsenal last weekend. David Luiz was sent off in that one, injuring his wrist during the game too. He will certainly miss out. The Blues will really need a win to put the pressure on the two Manchester clubs.

Key stats to consider

  • Chelsea have won 7 of their last 8 away matches in the Premier League
  • Chelsea are undefeated in 20 of their last 22 matches against Stoke in all competitions
  • Chelsea have won with a 1 goal margin in their last 3 away matches in the Premier League

Chelsea should win, simply because they need to. It will be far from easy though.

Prediction: Stoke City 1-2 Chelsea

Swansea City v Watford

It was all hands to the pump for Swansea last week as a gritty defensive performance grabbed them a fully deserved point against Spurs at Wembley. Federico Fernandez was particularly impressive, but Lukasz Fabianski has had a great season between the sticks too. This is a much more winnable game and Tammy Abraham will hope to get on the scoresheet.

Last week was an absolute nightmare for Watford in their 6-0 defeat to Manchester City. Apart from that, Marco Silva’s side have been good. The gaffer is likely to make changes for this one in an attempt to get back on form.

Key stats to consider

  • There have been under 2.5 goals scored in 10 of Swansea‘s last 12 games in the Premier League
  • Swansea have seen under 2.5 goals in 9 of their last 10 matches against Watford in all competitions
  • Watford have scored at least 2 goals in their last 3 away matches in the Premier League

Courtesy of WhoScored.com

It’s a tough one to predict and for that reason a draw is the likely result.

Prediction: Swansea City 1-1 Watford
