Sky Bet Super 6 Tips & Predictions For 15-08-2017

Sky Bet Super 6 Tips & Predictions For 12/08/2017

It’s round 3 of the Sky Bet Super 6 game, and the special jackpot is still at £1 Million. As no-one has won the jackpot yet, the £1m will stay as the guaranteed prize until there is a winner in any round throughout the season. Then, it is expected to return to the usual £250k jackpot for the remaining weeks. As the game is completely free to play, you might as well have a risk-free shot at winning big money.  It is the Championship’s turn this time around for the midweek fixtures, and here are the MatchedBets.com Super 6 tips for the upcoming round.

Birmingham City v Bolton Wanderers

Many were surprised when Harry Redknapp decided to stay on as manager of Birmingham City, but the veteran saw a challenge that he wanted to see through. He’ll be looking to solidify the Blues as a force to be reckoned with this year, with the end goal of promotion back to the Premier League in May. Fresh off a hard fought 2-1 win over Bristol City, they look in decent shape so far. Bolton on the other hand have taken 1 point from their first 2 games. A draw away at fellow newly promoted side Millwall is not bad, but they’ll start the game at St Andrews as big underdogs. Expect Birmingham to show their strength here.

Prediction: Birmingham City 2-0 Bolton Wanderers

Cardiff City v Sheffield United

One man who certainly knows what it takes to win promotion from the Championship is Neil Warnock. Having guided Sheffield United themselves and Queens Park Rangers to the promised land, he is looking to make it a hat-trick with Cardiff City. They couldn’t have got off to a better start either, following up an opening day win at Burton with a 3-0 demolition of title favourites Aston Villa. Visitors Sheffield United will feel hard done by to not come away from the Riverside with a point on Saturday after they had a goal wrongly ruled out for offside. That being said, it’s difficult to see them getting anything here, especially against a team lead by a man that knows the Blades better than anyone.

Prediction: Cardiff City 3-1 Sheffield United

Middlesbrough v Burton Albion

As mentioned, Boro got a bit lucky to take all 3 points on Saturday but they truly needed them after an opening day defeat. Garry Monk impressed in the Championship last season with Leeds United and will be looking to go one better with the Teessiders and finish in the promotion places. Burton Albion are fresh off a 4-1 hammering at Hull City, but in fairness they were playing with 10 men from the 38th minute onwards after goalscorer Jackson Irvine saw red. Don’t expect many goals in this one as Boro have lacked firepower so far and Burton are missing their main goal threat.

Prediction: Middlesbrough 1-0 Burton Albion

Leeds United v Fulham

The Elland Road faithful finally had something to shout about last season, as the team looked somewhat back to its best after years of mediocrity. Unfortunately they just missed out on the play-offs and manager Garry Monk decided to move on, causing them to be right back to square one. Under new manager Thomas Christiansen though, Leeds have picked up 4 points from 2 games. Fulham were the side to pip Leeds to the final play-off place last year, and they will be looking for top 6 minimum again. They are yet to win in the league so far, but also yet to lose. I can see this trend continuing with another stalemate.

Leeds United 1-1 Fulham

Hull City v Wolverhampton Wanderers

After relegation from the Premier League, many tipped Hull to struggle after they lost highly rated manager Marco Silva and many of their best players such as Harry Maguire, Andrew Robertson and Eldin Jakupovic. Former Russia national team manager Leonid Slutsky has stepped in, and has collected 4 points from 2 games. Opponents Wolves have fared even better, having won both matches so far. This was to be expected too, after the club splashed the cash in the summer. This is a tough one to call, but be prepared for a free flowing game of football.

Prediction: Hull City 2-2 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Millwall v Ipswich Town

Millwall are back in the second tier of English football and are looking to make an impact again. It’s been tough for them so far with a draw and a defeat to their name, but they will hope a midweek game at The Den will inspire an intimidating atmosphere. The visitors Ipswich are looking to make it 3 league wins from 3, and will certainly fancy their chances here. Mick McCarthy is another manager that knows the division like the back of his hand, and he’ll implement a game plan capable of getting the victory.

Prediction: Millwall 1-2 Ipswich Town
