Sky Bet Super 6 Tips & Predictions For 09-09-2017

Top-flight football returns for Round 7 of the 2016/17 Super 6 season, following the international break. The special £1 Million prize is still up for grabs and there’s a genuine chance that you could be the lucky winner, as it must be won this week. All you need to do is pick the correct score for the Super 6 games on Saturday. Sounds easy enough, huh?

Why Play Super Six?

At MatchedBets.com we’re all about making money from bookmaker offers. Sky Super 6 effectively gives a weekly risk-free shot at winning a huge prize. It’s completely free to play, all you need is a Sky Bet user ID to get involved. Even if the top prize isn’t won, there’s normally a £5,000 consolation prize for the person who has done the best each week, so the incentive is clear.

However, the £1 Million prize is guaranteed to be won this week and will be paid out under the usual consolation prize terms, if nobody gets the jackpot. It is then expected that next week’s Super Six will revert back to the normal prize pool of £250,0000.

Super 6 Round 7 Tips & Predictions

So let’s take a look at the games and see if we can point you in the direction of a nice windfall. There are five matches from the Premier League, plus a game from the English League Championship to dissect. You will also need to provide a Golden Goal prediction which is used as a tiebreaker in the event that two players have the same score. This is a prediction of the minute of the first goal across all six matches.

Arsenal v Bournemouth

The Gunners have a point to prove after their heavy 4-0 defeat away to Liverpool, a scoreline which could have been anything after a rather inept display. It was a second defeat on the bounce for Arsene Wenger’s side and after a disappointing end to the transfer window, there is something of a cloud over the Emirates.

Bournemouth have lost all three of their Premier League matches so far. Having failed to score when going down 1-0 at West Brom and 0-2 at home to Watford, the Cherries did at least get on the scoresheet despite a 1-2 defeat to Manchester City last time out but this probably won’t be any easier.

Arsenal have scored at least 2 goals in 7 of their last 8 home matches and that stat can also be applied to their last 4 meetings with Bournemouth. The visitors will try to keep it tight but in the end Arsenal’s quality should shine through. I’ll be watching ArsenalFanTV if it doesn’t.

Prediction: Arsenal 2-0 Bournemouth

Everton v Tottenham

Off-field incidents have dominated the buildup to this game. Wayne Rooney was arrested for drink driving but is set to play for Everton, while want away midfielder Ross Barkley failed to get a move on deadline day and is out injured. Tottenham’s Dele Alli made an offensive gesture when on international duty for England but is clear to play.

The Toffees came unstuck against Chelsea last time out, losing 2-0 away from home. Tottenham also came up short when drawing 1-1 at home to Burnley, a match that they were expected to comfortably win.

Spurs didn’t look all that convincing away to Newcastle before they gained a numerical advantage and Everton are typically strong at Goodison Park. The hosts have won 10 of their last 11 home matches and have lost just 1 of their last 10 meetings with Tottenham.

Prediction: Everton 2-1 Tottenham

Southampton v Watford

Southampton looked far from convincing in their opening day bore-draw with Swansea and played out another 0-0 away to Huddersfield last time out. However, they won 3-2 at home to West ham in between those stalemates and are unbeaten in the league this season.

Watford didn’t read the script when drawing 3-3 at home to Liverpool on the opening day and backed up that spirited display to win 0-2 away at Bournemouth. The Hornets didn’t quite have the same sting in attack when playing out a drab 0-0 draw with Brighton last time, though.

Southampton have a good record against Watford and are undefeated in their last 7 meetings but the visitors have looked pretty good this season and we could be looking at a high-scoring draw here.

Prediction: Southampton 2-2 Watford

Brighton v West Brom

Brighton look to have made some astute signings but will need them to gel quickly, having picked up just a single point from their opening three matches. They go up against an unbeaten West Brom side that’s looked in good shape so far, beating Bournemouth and Burnley 1-0 before drawing 1-1 against Stoke.

The Baggies have only let in a single goal and Brighton are yet to hit the back of the net this season. Neither side has been involved in any high-scoring games thus far, so don’t expect a thriller here. West Brom will probably nick this.

Prediction: Brighton 0-1 West Brom

Leicester v Chelsea

Leicester gave Arsenal a run for their money despite losing 4-3 and looked good value for their 2-0 win over Brighton. The Foxes were no match for Manchester United though and lost their last game 2-0.

Chelsea made a stumbling start when losing 2-3 at home to Burnley but have registered two good wins since then. The Blues beat London rivals Tottenham 2-1 and put in a solid display to win 2-0 at home to Everton.

Chelsea have won 8 of their last 9 matches and have scored at least twice in 8 of their last 9 matches. They nabbed Danny Drinkwater from the visitors on deadline day and will be confident of continuing their impressive run of results against Leicester.

Prediction: Leicester 0-2 Chelsea

Sunderland v Sheffield United

Sunderland have been hit and miss so far this season. They are without a win in three Championship matches but did beat Carlisle 1-2 away in the League Cup in their penultimate outing. The Black Cats slumped to a 3-0 defeat away to Barnsley last time out and need to bounce back.

Sheffield United are looking for three league wins on the bounce after a 1-0 home success over Barnsley and a convincing 3-1 demolition of Derby at Bramall Lane. Their away form leaves much to be desired though, following defeats at Middlesbrough and Cardiff where they failed to score.

Sunderland have the home advantage and a good recent record against the Blades in their favour. They’ve won the last three meetings with a clean sheet and were ahead before the interval each time. All being well, this should be a comfortable home win.

Prediction: Sunderland 2-0 Sheffield United
