Happy winner heads to Wembley for England v Spain

Casey Dennis was delighted to find out he’d won Matched Bets’ latest Wembley ticket competition. He and a friend will enjoy VIP seats for the International friendly between England and Spain on Tuesday 15 November.

The competition opened on 5 October and ran until midnight Sunday 6 November. Casey, who heralds from Matlock, was one of the last entrants, earning his place in the draw on Sunday evening.

Entrants were required to sign up for a free trial at Matchedbets.com where they could earn around £50 using matched betting with the four available offers from Coral, Sky Bet, William Hill and Betfair Exchange. More entries were available for sharing news of the competition on social media.

The tickets are on the Level two tier reserved exclusively for Club Wembley members who have the freedom of a 1km concourse which runs around the stadium and is packed with bars, restaurants, cafes and catering outlets. The seats are situated close to the halfway line and provide a fantastic panoramic view of the action.

When informed he had won and asked if he’d be able to make the trip from Matlock to Wembley, Casey replied, “That is fantastic news! Yes I can 100% go to the match and I would be delighted to accept!”

Gareth Southgate’s men will be hoping to see out their final fixture of 2016 in style when they host the former World and three-time European champions. A packed house will ensure a spine tingling atmosphere when England’s finest take on the likes of Nacho, Carvajal, Busquets, Thiago and Morata who have all been named in Spain’s 25-man squad.

While Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas are set to miss out, the Premier League is well represented in Julen Lopetegui’s squad with David De Gea, Juan Mata, Anders Herrera, David Silva and Nolito among the players selected.

Harry Kane and Jack Wilshere make their return to the England set up  while Adam Lallana, Raheem Sterling and Nathaniel Clyne also rejoin the squad after missing October’s games against Malta and Slovenia through injury.

Caretaker manager, Southgate is hoping to secure the position full time and a good performance against one of the world’s top rated teams will go along way to help his cause.

This the third competition in which Matched Bets has given away tickets for big sporting events at Wembley. In July, we ran a competition to watch the Community Shield and a month later we gave away two tickets for the Challenge Cup Final, rugby league’s showcase event.
