The fifth series of Love Island concludes this week with the winnings couple due to collect a cool £50,000 between them. There have been a series of twists over the course of the 50+ days the contestants have been in the villa with perhaps the most notable being Curtis leaving Amy after the girls left the villa a short stint at Casa Amor with a number of fresh faces. Prior to the break up of Curtis and Amy, which ultimately lead to Amy leaving the villa on her own accord, the duo were one of the favourites to go all the way and collect the prize money. However, new arrivals have now entered the scene and are giving long-standing favourites Tommy & Molly-Mae competition.

Who are the bookies favourites to win Love Island 2019?

Tommy Fury & Molly-Mae Hague

Tommy and Molly-Mae coupled up early in the show and have been strong favourites ever since. With a lack of drama between the two, a major shake-up will be needed not to see these two in the final. Tommy and Molly-Mae are currently the bookmakers favourites at odds of just 4/5.

Ovie Soko & India Reynolds

Both Ovie and India were late arrivals to the villa yet the bookies have them as second-favourites to be the last couple standing. Ovi has been a huge hit with the public and given more time, it’s likely he would have been odds-on to win if coupled with the right girl. Nevertheless, UK bookmaker BetVictor are offering odds of 5/2 for Ovi & India to win the series with Ovi at odds of 3/1 to be the top male.

Amber Gill & Greg O’Shea

Amber was previously coupled up with Michael until she became another victim of the trip to Casa Amor. Despite Michael declaring he still had feelings for her weeks after the couple had split up, it was too little too late with Amber coupling up with new boy Greg. Although the two have only been together for short space of time, bookies have them as third-favourites to win at odds of 6/1.

Curtis Pritchard & Maura Higgins

In one of the more unlikely couplings, Curtis and Maura have been looking increasingly strong together. Although it’s unlikely that the two will win the show, both are likeable individuals. Curtis and Maura are currently viewed as outsiders by the bookies with odds of 12/1.

When is the finale of Love Island 2019?

With the series starting on 3rd June, it will come to an end on Monday 29th July after 57 days in the villa. The finale will start at the regular time of 9pm but viewers will be entertained for an extended period with it finishing at 10:35pm.

Who will win Love Island 2019?

With many of the ‘strong’ couples having gone their separate ways, it’s looking increasingly likely that this years winners will be Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague. They’ve shown a similar strength and non-event filled time in the villa as last years winners Jack and Dani and are extremely strong contenders to go all the way. However, the publics fondness of Ovi cannot be ignored and should an unexpected event happen which disfavors Tommy & Molly-Mae, Ovi & India could be in the running.
