The Pertemps Final takes place on day 3 of the Cheltenham Festival, is run on the new course at Cheltenham over a distance of around 2 miles, 7 furlongs and 213 yards and features twelve hurdles.

The race replaced the old George Duller Handicap Hurdle when it was introduced in 1974 and has had various sponsors over the years including betting company Coral at which time the race was called the Coral Golden Final Hurdle.

Jonjo O’Neill is the leading trainer for the Pertemps Final having won the race with four horses – Danny Connors (1991), Inching Closer (2003), Creon (2004), Holywell (2013).
