The Cross Country Chase, also known as the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase for sponsorship purposes, takes place at 16:10 on day 2 of the Cheltenham Festival.
The race is run on the cross country course at Cheltenham over a distance of approximately 3 miles and 6 furlongs and features no less than 32 obstacles to be jumped.
The Cross Country Chase is one of the more recent races to be added to the Cheltenham Festival race schedule having been introduced in 2005 when a fourth day was added to the festival.
