The Champion Bumper is the final race to take place on day 2 of the Cheltenham Festival with a scheduled off time of 17:30.
The race is run over a distance of approximately 2 miles and 1/2 furlong on the Cheltenham old course and is considered to be the most prestigious flat race in the National Hunt calendar. Several horses such as Dunguib and Florida Pearl, which have featured in the Champion Bumper have gone on to become leaders in jumps races.
