The Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle, also known as the Baring Bingham Novices’ Hurdle, is the opening race on day 2 of the Cheltenham Festival.
It takes place on the old course at Cheltenham and is run over a distance of approximately 2 miles and 5 furlongs and features 10 hurdles.
The race was originally named the Aldsworth Hurdle when it was introduced in 1971 but has gone under many names due to various sponsors.
