At first glance, this seems like a pretty straight forward free bet offer. However, there are a few terms of the offer which are important to understand.

Firstly, the free bet is not a standard free bet. It’s more of a combination of a free bet and a bonus. This is because like a free bet, the stake isn’t returned but like a bonus, you have to wager the winnings.

You will be credited with the ‘free bet’ as soon as you make a deposit. So, if you deposit £10, your balance will be £20. You must wager any winnings you make from your bonus once before being able to withdraw it. Cash is used first when there is a cash balance as well as a bonus balance, so if your initial bet was £10, it would be deducted from your cash balance. The wagering can only be met by wagering your bonus and so you must either have a cash balance of zero to do this or place a bet with your cash + bonus balance combined. This minimum odds for all wagering is 1/2 (1.5).

You have 7 days to use your free bet and to meet the wagering requirements before your bonus and any winnings generated from your bonus expire.

As you can see, the Ruby Bet new customer offer isn’t the simplest. However, it can have value. Just remember to read through the full terms and make sure you understand them before proceeding.

There are a handful of betting offers available at Ruby Bet aside from the new customer offer. Promotions vary depending on current sporting events and tournaments but at the time of writing there were betting offers available for the Women’s World Cup, F1 Grand Prix, Copa America and the Cricket World Cup.

All the betting offers available were of a similar style to the new customer offer whether customers were credited with a free bet upon making a deposit. Unfortunately, the dubious terms of the new customer offer seem to apply to all free bet offers with the free bet winnings having to be wagered once and cash being used first.

Hopefully, Ruby Bet will announce some additional promotions during the football season that are slightly more straight forward.
