Jenningsbet Refund if 2nd to SP Favourite

Online bookmaker Jenningsbet are offering customers their stake back as a free bet if the horse they back at selected meetings finishes 2nd or the starting price favourite.

Money back if 2nd is a popular horse racing offer ran by many bookmakers and can provide a good chance at making a profit in the long term when matched betting with relatively minimal risk.

Jenningsbet announce eligible meetings on their website for their Money Back if 2nd offer when it’s available and only bets places on races at this meetings will count towards the offer.

If you place a bet on a horse in a race at an eligible meeting and it finishes 2nd to the starting price favourite (the horse which is the favourite when the race starts), you will receive your stake back as a free bet up to a maximum of £20.

This offer applies to your first bet placed on an eligible race and only to win singles or the win part of an each way single.

If your horse finishes 2nd to the SP favourite and you are eligible for a refund, it will be credited to your account within 24 hours of the race ending. You will then have 7 days to use your free bet before it expires. Any winnings from your free bet will be credited as cash minus the value of the free bet.

One important point to remember about this offer is that it does not apply when the starting price favourite goes off at odds of 6/2 (2.50) or less. Therefore, if you are placing a bet to take advantage of this offer, it’s advised that you wait until a time close to the start of the race to place your bet and to avoid doing so if the favourite has odds of 2.50 or less.

The offer also doesn’t apply to races where fewer than 5 runners take part or in the event of a dead heat.
