After a relatively good season, Hull are now winless in their last six matches in all competitions, losing 5 of them consecutively. All but one of these defeats have been by just one goal but it has left Grant McCann’s side in the bottom half of the table in 14th position. A playoff spot come the end of the season isn’t out of the question but the Tigers have just 15 games remaining to make up a minimum of 10 points.

Swansea have had a mixed season so far and threw away a 2-1 lead against Derby last weekend to lose 3-2. That defeat has left them 4 points adrift of a playoff position, a gap which they will hope to close come Friday evening.

Swansea’s only wins this year have come at home against Charlton and Wigan – two sides towards the bottom of the table and their last win on the road was before Christmas against rock-bottom Luton. However, their overall form away from home is respectable and the 7th best in the Championship. They have struggled for goals though and so will have to keep Hull’s front men at bay if they want to take anything away from the game on Friday.
