West Bromwich Albion unveil 10Bet as new sponsor

Online bookie 10Bet have been confirmed as the new Official Betting Partner of EFL Championship club West Bromwich Albion. The sponsorship of the Baggies which is rumoured by local newspaper the Birmingham Mail to have cost over £1m comes just a week after the ambitious bookmaker announced a similar 3-year sponsorship deal with fellow Championship side Blackburn Rovers.

As part of the new strategy, 10Bet will unveil a new visual identity which will feature on the front of the Blackburn and West Brom shirts for the next 3 seasons, and also around the Ewood Park stadium, home to Blackburn Rovers.

Betting companies have long targeted football clubs as there is a similar demographic and looking around the top divisions in England, it is clear that the online betting sector has become increasingly competitive, with 17 of the 24 teams in the Championship sponsored by online betting or casino companies.
