Latest Champions League Betting Odds

The UEFA Champions League has reached the semi-final stage and all four clubs left in the competition will feel like they can win the entire tournament. There are still representatives from England, Italy, Spain and Germany, with each league looking to come out on top.

The quarter-final stage last week was one of the most surprising we have ever seen, with a number of shocks and comebacks. AS Roma overturned a 4-1 first leg deficit to win 3-0 on home soil and go through on away goals.

Real Madrid were almost on the end of an amazing turnaround too, as Juventus were seconds away from taking their contest to extra time before a penalty was given along with a red card for goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.

It was much more straightforward for Liverpool, who overcame newly crowned Premier League champions Manchester City 5-1 on aggregate. Rounding out the semi final stage are Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, who beat Sevilla 2-1 on aggregate.

The draw for the semi-final stage took place last week, and it threw up two extremely interesting clashes. Since the draw, bookmakers have made Real Madrid the slight favourites to win their fourth Champions League trophy  in the last five seasons. They have been drawn to face Bayern Munich in the semi-final, which  on paper is probably the toughest test they could have had.

Los Blancos are best odds of 2/1 with many bookmakers at the time of writing, such as Ladbrokes, William Hill, Coral, Betfred, Betway and Paddy Power, though other bookies have gone for shorter odds such as 7/4 (Sky Bet) and 15/8 (bet365).

Their opponents Bayern have home advantage in the first leg and are second favourites with most bookies. For example, they are 9/4 to go all the way with bet365, William Hill, Betfair and BetVictor among others.

The bookmakers have also installed Liverpool as the favourites to win their semi final, as they clash with Roma. To go on and lift the trophy, Jurgen Klopp’s Reds are 2/1 in places (Betfair, Paddy Power, Betfred, Betway), though they are 23/10 with Unibet.

Roma themselves are the outsiders, even though they saw off Barcelona in the last round. Though 8/1 with most bookies, you can get 10/1 with 10Bet and SportPesa.
